Sitting at just about 700 square feet, this slim and streamlined space functions as each a residence and a small business. Known as “Dogsalon” for specifically what it is– grooming, this Japanese structure is easy, clean and straight to the point. Naoko Horibe Architects developed the space to be as minimalist as possible, with lots of visual interest. The enterprise portion of the space is situated at the points adjacent to the street, allowing for ease of access and allowing the family members some further privacy from the primary road. The bathrooms are the connecting point for the reside/work junction, even though the private regions are ushered toward the back of this unique space.
