Tokyo Table By Loïc Bard
The Tokyo table by Loïc Bard grants a subtle wave of gentleness, low to the ground with rounded edges extending quietly for the magazine compartment under. Pale maple wood completed in all-natural oil glides gently throughout from table prime to the tripod legs. The artist’s inspiration comes soon after a trip to Japan, “I made this table whilst remembering the sober atmosphere, the simplicity of the utensils, and the rustic atmosphere of the tea ceremony.” Handmade of fine craftsmanship out of his Montreal workshop. It is presence is cool calm and collective, a sensible piece provoking balance and relaxation in absolute zen.
