Inspired by the classic shape of a grain Silo, these minimalistic pendants are produced by Zero of Sweden. The respected international lighting house released the Silo line in 2013 to rave evaluations. The colors span white, black, yellow and green in muted industrial tones. The designers, Stockholm’;s Note Style Studio, added curved colored cords to up the design ante, producing a distinctive appear. It can very easily become the star of the area, or blend into the background — it all depends on what you surround it with and what look you are trying to inspire. The clean lines and simplistic nature are the epitome of Scandinavian style, prepared to blend in with any era or decor. And with a painted aluminum finish, they are practically maintenance free. Try a row of them over a breakfast bar, or a single pendant over the sink. Or “gang” them more than a bigger space.
